End-of-Life Doula Services

I offer a free initial consultation. This can be done in person or via Zoom.  I would love to get to know you, and learn where you are in your journey.  This is also your time to get to know me.  Loved ones who offer you support are also welcome at this meeting. This would be the time for you to SHARE what you are looking for.  Some know, and other may not, but it is your time to communicate your thoughts, feelings and concerns so that we can connect and know if and how I can be of support to you.

If you plan to move forward with me, I will begin to asses ways in which I can be of best support.  I am able to provide resources for you in order to assist with physical and practical care needs.  During this time we can begin to create a fluid plan tailored to your wishes, desires, and needs, both current and future.

We can also discuss creative ways to ease anxiety/fear and change the narrative surrounding death.  One of which is to take part in a legacy project.  These are creative endeavors that would honor your life. share your story in a unique way, and help preserve memories for future generations.

Once we have laid out your end of life plan, I can now implement your vigil requests.  I will listen and bring a focused approach and individual presence to the bedside, and help  process the emotions and experiences with loved ones.

I help guide and support the individual practices of all involved while guiding individuals through the early stages of grieving.  With love and care, I help explore the meaning of the dying persons life and legacy, and follow through with any closing requests and wishes.

What is a Death Doula?

A Death Doula, or End of Life Doula, or Death Midwife is a non-medical and holistic practitioner who guides individuals and their families through the dying process by way of presence, support, advocacy, education, and companionship.

What areas do you serve?

We are located in the Manhattan Beach area of South Bay and offer services throughout Los Angeles county.
